Allied Health Experts provide independent opinions, recommendations and training for individuals and their families, law firms, nursing homes, health care workers and insurers— including the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).



Allied Health Experts provides reports and documentation spanning a variety of needs. Our reporting and assessments include:


  • Medico-Legal Reports: Assessment for both plaintiff and defendant lawyers and provision of independent report.
  • Needs Assessment Reports: Assessment of current and potential future needs (physical, mental, emotional).
  • Functional Assessment Reports: Assessment of current patient functionality and independence, as well as anticipated future functionality (growth or decline).
  • NDIS (including AT requests): Assessment, evaluation and assistance in accessing the NDIS, including the provision of evidence of disability, degree of disability.

Our Occupational Therapists are able to comment on referrals regarding access to the NDIS (National Disability insurance scheme) as well as applications for further supports. Having had experience with NDIS participants in the community, our Occupational therapists we well suited to providing an informed opinion and recommendations.

Occupational Therapist

Jacqueline holds a career-long commitment to improvement of the health and occupational wellbeing of individuals and communities through her work within the public sector, private tertiary education sector and voluntary industry participation.


In her current work as a Lecturer, she has pursued research and academic activities, seeking high quality evidence and resources to support practice in undergraduate students as well as practitioners within the occupational therapy sector.

Jo has three decades working as an Occupational Therapists and in occupational informed practice across health, community, corporate, education, construction, government, small business, vocational and employment sectors. As an Occupational Therapist Jo’s specialty has been working with people experiencing mental health and psychosocial illness with a focus on employability, work readiness, return to work and development in employment. While her work roles and work settings have been diverse, the consistent elements are and continue to be - people and relationships.

Catherine is a highly skilled and experienced clinician, with almost 20 years working as an Occupational Therapist. Catherine has worked in a range of settings including acute and rehabilitation hospitals, and the community with an emphasis on acquired disability and catastrophic injury. Catherine currently practices as a case manager, as well as providing clinical occupational therapy services to clients with catastrophic injuries.

She has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, outpatient rehabilitation and community and has worked with a variety of funding bodies including CTP, NDIS, NIIS, iCare and Workcover.

She brings substantive and current experience in advanced clinical roles as an Occupational Therapist in rehabilitative, general medical and geriatric services, as well as previous career experience in medicolegal assessments.

Over the last 20 years, Christina has gained experience in both the private and public sector, working in the UK, WA and Queensland. She has had extensive experience treating patients with multi-trauma of the upper limb including revascularisation and replants, crush injuries, nerve, tendon, ligaments repairs and fractures of all types.

Sarah graduated in 2017 from the Griffith University, with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has worked primarily with children presenting with a range of conditions, including neurological diagnoses, severe developmental delay, intellectual impairment, rare chromosomal disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases including vision, speech and hearing impaired.

Medicolegal Coordinator

Emily has more than 15 years experience in office administration and office management in the private and public sector.

Emily is the medico legal coordinator at Allied Health Experts. She has more than 5 years experience in this position and has handled some of the country’s largest personal injury claims. Emily’s past experience with the department of justice and attorney general has provided her with the knowledge and experience to confidently handle every referral with the utmost respect, diligence and professionalism. Emily has had experience developing training packages, writing policy and procedure documents and project management. She has an interest in health promotion, community engagement and customer relationships.

Accounts Manager

Elissa is the accounts manager at Allied Health Experts. With 17 years’ experience, Elissa has worked with small and large business in a variety of industries including Health, Construction, NDIS, Agriculture, Insurance, Local and State Government and Law Firms.

For the past 12 years Elissa has worked in Allied Health practices. She has an in-depth knowledge of NDIS processes including self-managed, plan managed and NDIA managed participants. She has extensive knowledge of accounting programs and a variety of billing platforms and is a registered BAS Agent.

The client whisperer, Letetia strives to compliment the smooth running of your claim. With a background in business operations and six years’ experience in a boutique law firm, she understands the level of priority for every request. She finds enjoyment in liaising with clients, synchronising calendars, and supporting our occupational therapists.

When away from the laptop Letetia enjoys contributing to her community. You can find her enjoying leisurely walks with her mischievous Labrador or embracing the joyful chaos of wrangling her three boys.
